Wamtechnik for SOS Children’s Villages.

In January 2023, we established cooperation with the SOS Children’s Villages Association. As part of it, we are jointly implementing an educational project for the Association – “Get to know the world of batteries” – and financially supporting the organization’s statutory goals.
The first workshop is already behind us. At the end of March we visited the SOS Family Strengthening Program near Siedlce where we had the opportunity to meet with an unusual audience for us – children aged 6 to 12. During the meeting we had the opportunity to provide information on the safe use of batteries and the proper handling of used batteries. We also talked about their recycling and interesting uses. It was an inspiring meeting for both sides and probably not the last.
Supporting the SOS Children’s Villages Association is one of the activities stemming from the company’s strategy for sustainable development.
This year, we are implementing CSR activities under 3 pillars of responsibility:
Pillar 1 responsibility in the workplace
Pillar 2 responsibility towards the environment
Pillar 3 responsibility towards the Society.
Activities for the Association are part of Pillar 3, and cooperation with the organization contributes to the UN sustainable development goals:
