Challenge
- Designing a battery resistant to extreme vibrations, operation in humid and dusty conditions, exposure to falls, etc., with a partially open design to enable air cooling,
- Special materials with improved mechanical parameters were used.
Solution
- Designing a cell-holder from a hard, two-component plastic to ensure suitable strength,
- Additionally, integrated rubber inserts absorb vibrations and ensure perfect seal of the interfaces between the electrical parts and the electronic components monitoring battery operation.
Result
- Battery system with exceptional resistance to vibrations, high dust concentration and humidity,
- Long system life,
- Air cooling without filtration.
