Lithium-iron-phosphate batteries (Li-FePO4) of Lithium Werks
Lithium Werks took over the production of cylindrical LFP cells from A123. It supplies advanced lithium-ion cells and energy storage systems, which deliver high energy density, good lifetimes and excellent safety. Cylindrical cells are available in typical sizes: 18650 and 26650.

LFP batteries
The manufacturer supplies cylindrical cells in typical sizes: 18650, 26650 and 32113; as well as AMP20 and AHP14 prismatic type cells in soft aluminium film casings (“coffee bag” type).
Application of cylindrical batteries:

- portable devices,
- back-up and energy storage systems,
- power supply solutions for electric motors.
Application of prismatic cells:
- electric vehicles,
- energy storage systems in power grids,
- start-up batteries.
